DA Hike 2025: Along with the central government, state governments also regularly increase dearness allowances for employees. Consequently, the Madhya Pradesh government has given a significant gift to its employees and pensioners. The state government has approved a 3% increase in dearness allowance. This increase will be effective from July 1, 2025. This decision will directly benefit approximately 750,000 employees and over 400,000 pensioners in the state.
Dearness Allowance now increased from 46% to 49%
The state government has implemented this increase in line with the central government. Previously, MP employees were receiving 46% DA, which will now increase to 49%. This decision means that every employee will now receive a 3% increase in their basic salary. This decision was approved in a cabinet meeting, and instructions have been issued to implement it with immediate effect.
Four months’ arrears will also be paid
The government has clarified that this increase will be effective from July 2025, so employees will also receive arrears for four months from July to October 2025. This means that four months’ DA will be credited to employees’ accounts simultaneously with their upcoming salaries. This will provide a little more depth to employees’ pockets during the festive season.
